Global shipping

We are a specialist in shipping goods world-wide with over five years of experience. In the subsections below you can read more about the delivery options that is interesting for you. In case you cannot find the option do not hesitate to contact us for the possibilities.

Courier delivery

Usually we choose this option when a fast delivery is required or if the packages are small. Delivery times vary between 1-8 working days depending on your localization. We always have your best interest in mind and will choose the most suitable option for you, depending on the following requirements, time frame and budget. If you have your own courier, we can also deliver through them. Personally, we work with couriers such as DHL, TNT, Seaborne and DPD. Standard we use Incoterms 2020 (DAP) when shipping by courier but on request (DDP) is also available. (DDP) shipment is subject to your country regulations. As soon as we have shipped the package(s) we will send you a track and trace link, so you can follow the shipment. Together with the package a (pro forma) invoice will be added, in order to speed up the import, this (pro forma) invoice will also be send to your emails address.

Truck delivery

The most common mode of transport is shipping by truck, mainly if your company is located in Europe. Delivery times vary between 1-10 working days depending on your locations. AGRIROS works together with a handful of transport companies who have experience with transporting all over the world. Most shipments will be LCL (less than container load) shipments, which means that your pallets will be combined with that of another client and transported to the country of destination. Most trailers can fit 24 pallets (120x80cm). If you reach the maximum number of pallets in a trailer, we are speaking of an FCL (Full container load) shipment. The maximum loading weight is depending on the country of destination and through which countries the truck will pass. Most of the time we can load 24.000kg in a trailer.

Sea Container delivery

The cheapest option is in big volumes FCL container delivery. The delivery times are longer and can vary between 2 – 8 weeks depending on your location.

As well as with truck delivery also with sea container delivery you have the option to choose between LCL and FCL shipments. The most common containers we ship are refrigerated and dry storage containers in the sizes 20ft, 40ft and 40ft HC.

Refrigerated container is mainly used when we ship materials that should maintain a controlled temperature for example when we are speaking about plants and fruits. The temperature is regulated from -25°C to + 25°C.

Dry storage containers are the ones that we ship the most, they have mainly one-sided entry which will be sealed after loading, so you can be sure that no one has entered the container or if it is broken or replaced you will know that someone has opened it.

A 20ft container has approximate inside measurements of (L x W x H) 5.90 x 2.35 x 2.35m. Which will fit 10 pallets (100x120cm).

A 40ft container has approximate inside measurements of (L x W x H) 12 x 2.35 x 2.35m. Which will fit 21 pallets (100x120cm).

A 40ft HC container has approximate inside measurements of (L x W x H) 12 x 2.35 x 2.70m. Which will fit 21 pallets (100x120cm).

When you have a few pallets only it is cheaper to book an LCL shipment, we provide assistance with this. For Sea container shipments we use various Incoterms all depending on who arranges the transport on the agreement beforehand. The most common options are FCA, FOB, CIF and DAP.

In order for you to import the goods we always beforehand agree on the set of documents required. The standard documents include a Bill of Lading, (Pro Forma) Invoice and a packing list. Additionally, it is possible to provide you with a Certificate of Origin, EUR-1, Phytosanitary certificate or a Heat-treated certificate. These documents come in original hard copy form as well as digital.

Airfreight delivery

When you are really in a hurry to get some products airfreight, delivery is most suitable option, making it also the most expensive one. Delivery times can vary between 2 to 7 days. Take into consideration that chemical shipments with airfreight are more sensitive and can take additional time to arrange. Most common Incoterms are used CIP, DAP and DDP, just take into consideration that when you chose CIP, the transport from the airport to your location should be organized by yourself. Standard documents shipped with the package is a (pro forma) invoice and packing list. Further the standard documents are also received by email complemented by the master airway bill. Certificate of Origin, EUR-1 and phytosanitary certificate are on request.
