RioCoCo Coir Blocks

RIOCOCO coir blocks are available in various types. We subdivde them in CF101, CF102, CF103 and CF104.

CF101 is a chip block made out of washed and heat-treated compressed husk chips. Husk chips are pre-cut slices and cubes from the coconut husk and available in three sizes S1, S2, and S3 grade chips.

CF102 is a coir block is made out of fresh coir natural and chip materials blended in different ratios specific to the crop grown. It needs to be wet and expand before any nutrients or fertilizers are added. Young plants can be planted directly into the expanded CF102.

CF103 is a coir mix blend block made out of natural and crush material mix blended together and compressed into a 4:1 ratio. Expanded CF103 mix coir block can be used as direct medium or as part of a potting medium to grow plants in containers or garden beds.

CF104 is a coir block made out of natural and crush material mix blended together and compressed into a 4:1 ratio. Young plants can be planted directly into the expanded CF104.
