Haifa Cal GG
Consists of:
Nitrogen (N) total -15.5 %, Ammonical Nitrogen (N- NH+4)-1.1%, Nitrate-Nitrogen (N-N0–3) – 14,4%, CaO – 26,5%, Ca 19%.
Haifa Calcium Nitrate Greenhouse Grade (15.5-0-0+26.5 CaO ) is a fully water soluble fertilizer. It has a high efficient source of Nitrate, Nitrogen and Calcium for plants under all growth conditions.
Haifa Cal GG Fertilizer is the preferred source of calcium for hydroponic or greenhouse farms since it’s highly water soluble. It’s great for foliar application and it’s also used to help boost Nitrogen and Calcium during the flower and vegetative periods.
Calcium is not mobile in the plant, therefore it has to be continuously supplied throughout the growth season in order to keep adequate levels in the plant tissues and to make sure you have proper development.
Haifa Cal GG is easy absorbable for the plant and improves the efficiency of calcium uptake. Besides it is a chloride-free fertilizer, therefore it is also a preferred source of Nitrogen and Calcium when chloride and sulfate fertilization should be limited. Very common at the late stage of the growing season, when calcium is required in high rates to prevent bud rot.
Calcium is essential to proper development of the membrane that binds the cells together into a cohesive unit. BER is the final expression of an unbalanced interaction between the rate of fruit growth and the internal distribution of calcium towards the susceptible tissue in the fruit. (Adams and Ho, 1992).

Uses:
Nutrigation (fertigation) of greenhouse and soilless-grown crops:
Haifa Cal GG can be applied in combination with other fertilizers to meet crop nutritional needs trough out the growth cycle. It has a high purity and water-solubility which makes Haifa Cal GG an ideal fertilizer for nutrigation.
Compatibility:
Haifa Cal GG is compatible with most water-soluble fertilizers, except for fertilizers containing Phosphorus or Sulfates. To use Haifa Cal GG in combination with Phosphorus or Sulfates please use two fertilizer tanks. If the systems has only one tank, please apply these fertilizers at various times.
Quantitative Nutrigation:
Each kilogram of Haifa Cal GG contains 155 grams of N (Nitrogen) and 190 grams of Ca (Calcium)
Foliar Nutrition:
Foliar application of Haifa Cal GG is an optional supplement to soil fertilization at growth stages when high levels of calcium and nitrogen are required. In the early season foliar application with Haifa Cal GG increases the establishment of healthy plant growth, and in the late season it prevents bud rot.
Haifa Cal GG is compatible with most commonly used pesticides and fertilizers. However, mixing with Phosphates and Sulfates should be avoided. Manganese, copper and zinc should be in the form of chelates.
TIP: It is advisable to confirm compatibility of your intended spray-mix by preparing a sample of the mixtures at their recommended concentrations in order to rule out the possibility of a detrimental cross reaction. The mixtures should be sprayed onto a small area to test before using it fully. You do this to test whether an adverse effect occurs when foliar spraying your mixture.
